Do you need to complete a substance abuse assessment? You’re in the right place!
We are Absolute Advocacy, and we’ve been helping in- and out-of-state residents to complete alcohol and drug evaluations since 2012. We’ve handled hundreds of assessments. We take pride in keeping the process easy, private, and professional.
What Is An Assessment?
A substance abuse assessment must be completed by anyone who is seeking substance use treatment. But not everyone who completes an evaluation requires treatment. You may be asked to take an assessment due to a work or career related issue, a child custody case, or a mandate from the court.
The assessment is an evaluation conducted before admission to treatment if deemed necessary. It includes:
- Introductions through a clinical interview.
- Establishing your history of drug or alcohol use.
- Evaluation of your needs via a structured substance use assessment questionnaire.
- An outcome or recommended action based on the clinical interview and assessment findings.
At Absolute Advocacy, all alcohol and drug evaluations are conducted by an experienced Certified Addictions Counselor. The assessment and related paperwork take approximately an hour and a half to complete.
