Keisha Mclean-Green, Owner and Clinical Director
As owner and Clinical Director of Absolute Advocacy, LLC, in Charlotte, NC, Keisha Mclean-Green provides DUI/DWI assessments, substance abuse assessment, as well as short-term and long-term rehabilitative treatment. She utilizes her vast breadth of knowledge, her experience, and her network of resources to advocate for persons seeking treatment after being charged with a DUI or DWI in the state of North Carolina. She works with attorneys as well as the courts to find the best course of action to help those seeking a better future.
Over the course of her career, Keisha has helped thousands of people struggling with substance abuse and disabilities obtain the tools they need to lead productive, happy lives. She specializes in substance abuse and DWI assessments and regularly works with DWI/DUI clients to complete the driver’s license reinstatement process. She also conducts individual and group therapy sessions necessary for offenders to have their licenses reinstated in the state of North Carolina.
Keisha has experience with crisis intervention in a high-intensity clinical environment. Her work experience also includes case management and supportive services. She is adept at developing evaluation plans tailored to the specific needs of her clients.
She has helped those with disabilities, substance abuse issues and criminal histories integrate back into the workforce by making recommendations for work adjustment training, placement in adult developmental activity programs, adult basic education courses, supported employment, and competitive employment. She has also taken a hands-on approach to rehabilitation by conducting career workshops and job readiness skills classes.
Keisha has managed the cases of individuals with emotional, developmental, learning and physical disabilities. Her thorough, yet compassionate reviews have ensured that her clients have access to quality care.
Throughout her career, Keisha has set a stellar example for her staff and peers by providing a unique balance of thoroughness and empathy to those recovering from substance abuse, living with disabilities and those seeking to rebuild their lives after incarceration.
Keisha is a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society, as well as Psi Chi Honors Society. She is a member of the Commission on Rehabilitation Counseling, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board.
Keisha has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Economics from York College. She also has a Master of Education – Rehabilitation Counseling with a dual certification in school guidance and counseling from Hunter College. She is certified as a Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
