I am 51 years old and haven’t had a DUI since 1989 and I waited until I quit Drinking before I tri to get my license back. I stopped in April of 1997 so I went to get my license and they gave me an interlock system which failed for 8 months and then he said he had no other choice to revoke my license for a year so I waited longer and went back in 2012 becsuse it was my pancreatitis medication that was causing the machine to fail,but it was a different person who wasn’t very nice He told me he was going to make me go through all the rehads again and so forth cost me a lot of money and that I was waiting his time and my money and time also because he was not giving me any privileges without a interlock system and that he would take them the first time that it showed as much as 01 for 4 years. He gave me all the papers but I knew he was going to do what he said so now I would like to try again. I’m on permanent Disability and have multiple health problems and doctor app. Even if they would let me have privileges to go to church and my doctor app the grocery store would be better than none all of my family is getting older & I have to go to the doctor every month & sometimes more like this month I have 3 app I’ve been sober and not drinking still plus I go to church 3 times a week, but I’m having more trouble getting a way to go where I need to I just want to go to the doc,church,and grocery store I also have cops but I don’t know if that matters to them plus I have to take my pancreas medicatim for my digestive system I’ve lost 3 family members in the last 19 months including my mother last month and I really need my license bad. Please say you can help me or tell me what to do I dont have much money but I will try to do my best with what I do get 730 a month but I also have rent ect. To pay nothing that’s a privilege.
